Today, Naomi Leask's Ts'msyen Studies classes visited the Cedar Park area to learn how to identify, harvest, and prepare p'atsaah (type of algae). They studied a few varieties, one for eating and another for medicinal uses. The edible kind was harvested by the students and they trimmed and prepared the p'atsaah to be cooked and dried later!
