"N’toyaxsn Mr. Mayor Smith and MIC Tribal Council for gifting our 2nd grade Smart Cookies some yee (King Salmon) in March! The kiddos have been learning and practicing our tradional ways of living (Values) with the people and world around us. One of our focuses was showing reciprocity. We give back to those who share with us. We give back to the land and say N’toyaxsn for our harvest. We practice sustainability by not taking too much; only what we need. We learned that sharing with others makes us happy and others too. Aam Dsabm 2nd Grade, I am a very proud Teedsa!
