Yesterday, Ms. Garza's 5th graders welcomed Heidi Foley and took her on a walking tour of the island! Heidi works for Wit & Wisdom as an Implementation Leader. She is visiting from New Mexico and will be meeting students and teachers and observing classes while she is in Metlakatla!
The 5th graders took Heidi to see various totem poles and other landmarks in Metlakatla. They took turns explaining the totem poles and sharing their favorite parts of the island.
