On Friday, our MHS Theater Class traveled to Ketchikan to watch a matinee production of "Alice in Wonderland" put on by the First City Players! They also got to participate in a fun theater workshop with the cast where they learned and played some theater games and worked on developing their improvisation skills. Next Wednesday, May 7th, will be the 2025 AISD Arts Showcase at Metlakatla High School from 5:00-7:00 pm! Artwork from our CTE and Native Art programs will be on display and for sale/auction throughout the evening. Donations will also be accepted for our programs! The MHS Sewing Class has been busy this semester making the"Exploding heart" pattern! This beautiful quilt is up for raffle. Check out the beautiful vests our MHS Choir is wearing! These were created by AISD Staff and community members who helped design, cut, and sew them for our choir to wear both at Music Fest and future choir performances! They have been a hit in Juneau with many of the Music Fest attendees and adjudicators commenting on how wonderful they look.
