On Friday, the RJES students hosted a beautiful Luulgit (Feast) for their families and community! Our students shared wonderful songs and dances, and presented handmade gifts to their guests. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and heart they put into preparing for this special event.
From Mr. Gamaas: "An elder complimented the entire staff at the school for their hard work supporting this event and would like this to continue into the future. I would not be able to get this done without the support of all school staff and the district, and most importantly, the students' beautiful effort and love for their culture."
T'oya̱xsut 'nüüsm to our community for the generous food donations, to the RJES staff for helping students prepare for the Luulgit, to our families for joining us in celebration, and to Mr. Gamaas for creating such an incredible cultural program in our schools. Luk'wil aam dzapsm, everyone!
