Recently, we had visitors to RJES to talk about Earthquake and Tsunami Preparedness! These visitors came from the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys, the University of Alaska Fairbanks - Alaska Earthquake Center , and the NOAA National Tsunami Warning Center. The Second Annual Richard Johnson Elementary Carnival is this Thursday, December 19th, from 6:00-8:00 pm at RJES! Our 5th Graders have been working hard to get everything ready, and are so excited to host! A few details: -All RJES students will receive a free game bracelet to play each carnival game one time. -Tickets for all other students, adults, or RJES students who wish to play more games are $5.00 for 10 tickets. -All games are 3 tickets each. -All food items are 1 ticket each. -Additional tickets can be purchased throughout the carnival, if needed!
