The weather forecast says the clouds will lift sometime between 7:00-9:00PM. The moon will set at 9:30, making the optimal viewing time between 9:30-11:00.
Before the "optimal" time, we will likely be able to see some of the brighter things like planets. We are in the middle of a significant meteor shower right now, and the northern lights were out last night so there is a good chance to see some super cool things!

AISD and the RJES Space Club are hosting the first ever Community Telescope Night! This will be held this Saturday October 21st, 8:00-11:00pm, by the old airplane hangar. *Please note: the forecast looks good, but please keep an eye on AISD posts on Saturday should the weather turn and we need to reschedule the event.*
MPD will be blocking off a few of the entrances to keep everyone safe in the dark, and limit the light pollution as much as possible for optimal telescope viewing (please see the attached map).
