Our Tsimshian Studies classes is seeking donations of deer hooves (lower legs) & unused antlers! Our students will be learning how to remove the hooves from the leg and will present them to the 1st grade class to make rattles.

This past weekend, 18 of our 10th-12th Grade Metlakatla High School students had the opportunity to attend the Sealaska Heritage Institute College and Career Fair in Juneau ! What an incredible weekend to work alongside other districts to explore options for life after high school. We are so thankful to SHI and RootED for their investment in our youth!

These screenings provide information about a students abilities in key domains, including physical well-being, social-emotional development, communication, language, literacy, cognition, movement, thinking, behavior, and emotions.

CLMS XC Families: Our CLMS runners are excited to head to their first meet next weekend! Due to scheduling conflicts with other schools, we won't be able to have a home meet, but will instead have a community run later this month.
Please note: in order to be eligible for travel to POW, students must attend 8 practices and meet academic eligibility requirements (2.0 GPA and no F's). The travel information will be provided to families via Remind.
