This is a traditional halibut hook. Daniel started working on it during the second quarter of the school year and just finished it. After completing the carving, shaping, gluing, and sanding, this hook can now be connected to a halibut skate.

This event is a free screening event to identify any educational or physical needs that must be addressed to enable the student to fully benefit from an educational program.
This event is for children who will be 3 or older on or before September 1st. If your child is 0-3 years, please contact our Student Services Department for information.

Next week (April 10th-14th) is State Testing for all AISD Schools!
Help your students get prepared for testing by checking out the following tips:
1. Get 9-11 hours of sleep the night before a test.
2. Eat a healthy breakfast in the morning and drink plenty of water!
3. Arrive to school on time.
4. Have a positive attitude and motto, like "I've got this!"
5. Read all the directions and answer choices carefully before you pick the best answer.
6. Cross out and eliminate the answer choices you know are incorrect.
7. Don't get stuck on the more challenging questions. Skip, move on, and return to them at the end.
8. Do a quick and quiet brain break if you notice you are starting to lose focus.
9. Review and check your work after you have answered all of the questions.
10. And ALWAYS remember this: A test cannot measure your worthiness, lovability, kindness, empathy, curiosity, passions, creativity, or courage!
