For this year's Golden Apple Award of Excellence "Most Nominations," we have a TIE! Both recipients each received 5 separate nominations during this year's nominations. Here is the second winner... Colton Fagerholm! Here's what one of the nominators had to say: "Colton has repeatedly gone above and beyond for the middle school building. When staff members are absent, he fills in (for teachers, our office, or wherever the need is!). He is consistently on time, and can always be found in a classroom, actively helping students. If you need kids pulled for an alternative testing spot, he does it. When we needed our caseload kids to finish NWEA and iReady testing, he did it. When we are short staffed... he steps up with no complaints and a team-focused attitude. If he thinks a different type of differentiation could help a student, we work collaboratively to support that student. He always puts the kids first, no matter what. Colton is a valuable and important staff member to our middle school building, and we are lucky to have him on our team!"
